GLP1 Formulary changes for weight loss as of 07/01/2026

As of 07/01/2026, BCBS has removed GLP1 medications for the use of weight loss from their formulary. They will now only be covered for a diagnosis of Diabetes.
BHG has approved a weight loss counseling program ( Teladoc) with coaching and dietician advice as of 07/01/2026 to assist with members ongoing weight loss journey.
